One of the worst sections of the book is about Clementine's cruise on the Rosaura. The dialogue, created by the author, is inane. The last third of the book, which is focused on World War II, is actually quite interesting. If you feel you must read this book, I would recommend starting the book on page /5(1K).

Lady Clementine by Marie Benedict is a novel told in the first person by Clementine Churchill, the wife of Winston Churchill/5. Clementine’s narrative is roll-on-the-floor hilarious, and Marla Frazee’s black ink drawings perfectly capture Clementine’s insouciant personality. Worst Week. Clementine begins her personal narrative with, “I have had not so good of a week.” (page 1) The rest of the book is certainly proof of that. DISCUSSION POINTFile Size: 1MB. The "Lulu & Clementine" book series will follow the adventures of Salem-Wolf (her middle name is Clementine) and her little dog Lulu. This writing project has been a labor of love for Tania as she began it when Salem was ever so small (as you can see by the awesome illustrations).   Clementine is a series of children’s novels by New York Times bestselling and award-winning author Sara Pennypacker.
